Eek, that's early! I can understand, though, of all of the fast food places, McDonalds does have the best breakfast. lolFamily are deciding to go to McDonalds at 6:30am tomorrow as my partner finishes work there at 6am.

It so sucks for him as he is on a gluten free diet. It must be a modern day torture device. He gets sick if he eats gluten.Eek, that's early! I can understand, though, of all of the fast food places, McDonalds does have the best breakfast. lol
Yeah, that's truly awful! Having to constantly worry since gluten is in so many of the things we eat. It's a horrible struggle for those with a gluten intolerance. It so sucks for him as he is on a gluten free diet. It must be a modern day torture device. He gets sick if he eats gluten.
Then there's me the diabetic. But at least if I eat the wrong foods my levels just go up... I don't end up sick most of the time.Yeah, that's truly awful! Having to constantly worry since gluten is in so many of the things we eat. It's a horrible struggle for those with a gluten intolerance.
That's the beauty of diabetes in the modern world, it's not nearly as much of a burden as it was in the past. It was a legitimate death sentence before, now we have all sorts of treatments, it's fantastic. Granted, I have the occasional diabetic seizure at times, and that's not fun, but at least it's MOSTLY manageableThen there's me the diabetic. Yeah, those are a bit scary, but I am very fortunate to live just a mile away from an fire station, so the couple of times it's happened here I have had help almost instantly.omg no seizure!i will save you!
That's scary! I'm glad you were diagnosed and managed to get treatment started. It's hard, but it's absolutely manageablewhen i was first diagnosed as type 2 i was so close to being in a coma...
oh yeah the fire station saves you folks. we just get the normal ambulance... fire station only puts out fires or saves stupid catsYeah, those are a bit scary, but I am very fortunate to live just a mile away from an fire station, so the couple of times it's happened here I have had help almost instantly.

Yeah, they're trained paramedics here, so when they respond to any incident they can render aid quickly. It should be that way everywhere, hopefully it will in time.oh yeah the fire station saves you folks. we just get the normal ambulance... fire station only puts out fires or saves stupid cats
In good and bad ways, definitely.America is very different.
Yeah, it's much the same in the UK, the ambulance renders aid, the fire station puts out fires or helps to do various tasks, and the police take care of the other emergency needs. Here they're trained to be fire, medical, traffic control, all sorts of things. It's quite staggering!Watching the show 9-1-1 is weird because they use the fire station to help people injured etc
Things an ambulance would do here.
Just like in America everyone needs insurance!Yeah, it's much the same in the UK, the ambulance renders aid, the fire station puts out fires or helps to do various tasks, and the police take care of the other emergency needs. Oh definitely! It's so scary to have to go to a doctor or a hospital with no insurance. I went in several years ago WITH insurance and still walked out with a bill of nearly $35,000 for a surgery and some minor after care! Took a long, long time to clear that!Just like in America everyone needs insurance!![]()
Shit... government funds most things here. But that's because we are a small country.Oh definitely! It's so scary to have to go to a doctor or a hospital with no insurance. Yeah, that's how it should be, realistically, but the US will never go down that route. They privatized and it's going to stay privatized.Shit... government funds most things here. But that's because we are a small country.
Well when idiots like Trump want to get back in to president no wonder nothing changes.Yeah, that's how it should be, realistically, but the US will never go down that route. They privatized and it's going to stay privatized.
Sadly people like that have a legitimate shot, too. They should be a joke, but no...Well when idiots like Trump want to get back in to president no wonder nothing changes.
