I have a 10 day vacation planned for April.
The thing is I do security I take as much as holiday's I want because it's paid, but then again I try not taking the piss haha and plus sitting home can be stressful at times especially when you have kids who just drown you haha!
How many paid holidays do you get per year?
Sitting at home is never stressful for me. I have a kid but she is a grown up now and doesn't bother me none. I like spending time with her. Most of the time she is in her room though.
Well we are entitled to have 5 to 6 weeks paid holiday each year to be honest as a full time worker.
Lucky you mate you have a grown up kid, I have a daughter she's 5 bloody spoilt by her mum and 3 year old son who is the main trouble maker in the house haha!
Yeah thats the years where you have to be on your toes for sure! @MrDawn has two children around those ages so he can relate to you I am sure.
I get around 4 weeks paid vacation time, plus there are about 12 paid holidays, so similar to you get. The longest vacation I usually take is near christmas / new years. I usually take a good 2 or 3 weeks off straight. Other than that I take little short breaks. Maybe I'll take a Friday or a Monday off here and there to make the weekend longer. Things like that.
I do have a vacation booked march 10th, going to Madira with the mrs and kids. It's been good few years I haven't went on a vacation so pretty much looking forward to it.

It is, but when you don't open up to anyone in your life and suddenly drop everything onto a therapist, you feel a bit torn. I hate exposing things about myself (...no, minds out of the gutter, please!), and I don't like having to explain what pushes me into thoughts of suicide on a regular basis. He needs to know, that's his job, but I feel horrible after opening up about the issues in my past that make me feel the way I do. Going into why my brother hated me, the different people that bullied me for different reasons, all that sort of stuff. I hate going back to that.Guilty? Thats what therapy is for!
