Haha, yea, all my mates say that too.. Im glad I can just learn my bass at my own pace now. And also learn what genres I want to instead of playing theyre stuff all the time.



Not only that but I get to go to the Touring Car racing again next weekend. I was orginally supposed to go then Jo went and booked a radio show over it! And I did tell her about the date!! Arghhh glad I don't have to put up with that crap anymore.

Yep. Said I wasnt good enough for the time I had been with them, They want to progress and the progression didnt include me. They said that I was told to do my own riffs and fills etc in our last band discussion... In actual fact all they told me was that I could no longer use notes on stage.



At no point in the 18 months or so that I have been with them did they teach/help me in anyway when it came to our own songs.. I started bass from scratch to be in that band and then they turn around and tell me im not good enough wtf?!



On Monday me and my mum had a discussion when out for a meal, and I had made the decision that after I got a job I would quit. So Wednesday's email hasn't bothered me at all. They had gigs this weekend so I would like to see whats happened. Weather they had been lining someone else up, or Dan went back to bass (he was the bassist on the previous lineup)

Anyway whilst i'm not upset.. just a little angry that they couldnt do it face to face.. I wish I had quit on them rather than me get kicked.

That is just seriously messed up.

I hate airports and flying too. I just bring along a good book to get my mind off it. I think it's exciting that you are meeting family that you haven't seen in years. What a great adventure you are going on. They must be so excited that you are coming and I bet you're going to have a wonderful time. Hope you take a camera and take some pictures for us!
