I think we've entered our rainy season, too...or at least my area of NorthEast Texas that's like...30 minutes from Oklahoma. XD

Probably why you gettin' rain too since you're close to Oklahoma. Well, time for work. Later folks!

My History class is reading Machiavelli's book The Prince which is all about seizing and keeping political power, and my teacher was talking about how the ends justifies the means, which is essentially the main point of this guidebook.

I'm not sure whether this was just a casual comment to relate to the book or if she actually agrees with it, but she mentioned how killing and stepping on people to get into power was not necessarily morally right, but the way you did it; and I agree, that the cheaters and liars get into good positions of powers even in small scale bodies of government or societies, but the thing I'm kind of upset about is how my teacher was kind of advocating the point by the way she said it.

I'm all for a society where people are well educated, free, and the corrupt people are out of power. I know this isn't practical but I still believe in it - and maybe one day it will become a reality.

Hello Besotted! I'm good and how are you? I just love your new avatar!

Cute isn't it?

I'm good thank you for asking.

Just bought a extra large dog crate from a pet store (pets@home for people in the UK). Was £75.
biggrin.gif

It was. Man said it was £80.
laugh.gif
Now we can put them in there when we go out and not have to take them everywhere with us. And wont have worry about them wrecking the house when we do leave them.

Good deal

My greyhound was used to being crated and I had a big problem with that. I didn't want to crate him but I learned the hard way to do it. I ran to the store one day and came home to find my house looking like a bomb

We thought about that and decided a a crate was a great idea. I said it would be somewhere they'd be out of harms way or less of a worry for us if we got a crate.

I just hope we can fit three in it when / if we get Bella ( mummy with puppies ). Not to sleep in, I just mean while we go out.

Never saw a crate large enough to fit three
laugh.gif
Just make sure when you crate them to take their collars off. Collars can get caught in the crate.
wink.gif
I also never left mine with toys or treats when I crated him. I was afraid he might coke and I wouldn't be there to help him. I'm sure you know all of this and hope I didn't insult you with this post.

They don't wear there collars indoors anyway. They have house collars but they have nothing that can catch on them.

I'm sure they'll fit, Bandy boy can curl up really small in a ball if he needs to, he's a clever boy.
biggrin.gif
Bussy on the other hand, sprawls out but can curl right up small when she needs to.
biggrin.gif

Don't worry, you didn't insult me hun.

I know what you mean about not leaving them with toys or treats, I wouldn't either.

Bussy get annoyed with Bandy when he tries to pinch her treats, its rather funny.
