Hello Sci.

Hi, Sci.

I feel misunderstood because of this email I sent:

Yesterday I watched about 40 min of your videos and today (about 12 hours later) I decided to watch another 45.

However, it seems that the first 31 minutes of those 45 got added to the 41 minutes I watched yesterday (thus making 72 minutes of playing time) and I got the You have watched 72 minutes of video today-message while I had in fact only seen slightly less than 31 minutes.

So I was wondering, is that supposed to happen?

And the reply I got:

Dear user,

If you are a free member/free user, certain restrictions may prevent you from watching videos. We limit the amount of data you can download from our servers within a certain time span. If you share your IP address with other Megavideo users (e.g. because your ISP uses proxies or NAT), you may be sharing these limitations with them.

Also, if you load two videos simultaneously, the time of those videos will add up to the 72 minute limit policy. For example, you load one 15 minute video and one 30 minute video at the same time. After these videos have finished loading, you will only have 27 minutes of viewing time left.

To enjoy unlimited service, speed, and bandwidth in downloading files from Megavideo, a premium account is required (http://www.megavideo.com/?c=premium).

Thank you for using Megavideo!

Sincerely,

Savannah

Well that does suck man.

No, but I rarely even use Megavideo because of the limit. 4shared is nicer

Ah. I like to use Youtube. But I'm guessing those sites are places you can actually download videos from? And yesterday my ride gave me this old comic book that as far as I can tell. Is from 1990. Captain N: The Game Master.

I think you can download if you're a member but I just use them to watch anime. On YouTube they're usually split into 3 pieces and that's just a pain

Think it's valuable?

Yeah, it is a pain. Unless you're a partner. And you can have one long video. And I have no idea. It looks in fairly good condition. But even if it is. I wouldn't sell it.

They also tend to remove the audio once they figure out it's copyrighted

Why wouldn't you sell it? Because you haven't read it yet?

Which is seriously annoying. And its not cause I haven't read it yet. Its cause I don't see comics as a money maker. I see them as an enjoyable hobby that I like to have. I've been collecting for years and I don't think I'd ever be able to sell any of my comics. Not unless I really had too.
