I'm hoping we'll get a win on Saturday.

I'm sure we'll get a win. Big boys are playing on Saturday, reserves played last night. We haven't had good reserves for the past few years.. And they proved that last night!

They are new boys. We just haven't had very much luck in the Carling Cup ( One of the cups in the English football season ) because we ALWAYS play our reserves, its annoyin' as hell.

Why don't they play the main players first? Seems like they'd have more chances to win that way instead? And congrats!

I've said that to many people before.

But, I guess Roy Hodgson, ( Manger ), wants to save the big boys for the premier league games instead.

And, thank you!

How's he even gonna get to the Premier League games if he keeps losing cause of bad decisions?

The premier league season and the Carling cup are different tournaments. We're out of the Carling cup, but we're still in the premier league. Roy said he isn't looking to win any trophies this season, he wants to concentrate on getting the squad back to there best. By buying new players to play alongside the likes of Nebulous Cole, Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres and Jamie Carragher.

Ohh I see now! Makes sense for them to get some experience without the pressure of trying to win Trophies.

I still don't see why he didn't want to at least have a go at the Carling Cup though.

The game last night ended 2-2 but 4 - 2 on penilties.

Well maybe he just didn't want to add any additional pressure?

I guess so.. The reserves are supposed to play and show the Manager they want to be picked for the first team and play with the big boys, but they failed to show that last night.

Ohh I see. Well I'm sure they'll still have plenty of chances to prove theirselves.

I'm sure they will. They wont play the reserves much now I don't think, so it'll be hard for them to get picked. I mean, Northampton who we played last night are three leagues below us. That, to me, is shocking that we lost! Jay Spearing, one of our reserves, played his socks off last night. He plays with the big boys sometimes.

Wow, so since they lost. It'll probably hurt his chances even more then.
