Holy crap as I was sitting in my office I heard the screech of breaks and then that awful sound when metal strikes something. I went out to see what the heck it was and saw a car up-ended against a tree. I called 911 from my cell phone asking for a rush in response. I checked the driver and he's DAS (dead at scene.) My goodness, the feeling that I couldn't do anything is just overwhelming at this point. I'm back now as I'm off duty and the emergency personnel, fire department and police have taken over.
