I was playing euchre with some friends and my Dad the other night. I was dealt an awesome poker hand and I asked, Poker, anyone? though I was only half joking. Dad jumped and threw in a dollar. With the hand I had, I threw in my dollar and raised him a buck.

I was confident that I would win; I had a full house, queens full of nines. The big fink also had a full house only his was kings full of tens. I mean really, what are the chances???

I suppose in a euchre hand, I should have better considered what he might have.

Now that had to have sucked!
