Gee, I would think you'd make a little more per hour since you're able to help the cashiers when it gets busy.

I know what you mean, but i have to be careful how much money i earn and how many hours i do. Not just because of my carers allowance, but also because of hubby.

Got you but it still doesn't seem fair that you don't get just a little bit more money for being a multi-tasker. It's like you're doing two jobs and only getting paid for one.

I get what you mean, i really don't know how it works out really. I get paid by the hour not the job as far as i know. I am a general assistant more than a cashier. I am just there to help them out if they need it.
