How are you?

I'm good and thanks for asking. How many kids and how old are they?

I'm good, Alan, and thank you for asking. How's the file cleaning coming along?

When we got up we went to Pets at home to get Skipper a coat, and also Skipper had to go the vets, which cost a lot

@Alan: What's wrong with Skipper?

He went for his normal booster vaccinations, but also while there we mentioned other things, such as his red eyes, which he now has drops for, and also he had a blood test to see if any medical reason he ain't gaining weight. It cost £124

Pets are very expensive. My little boy Louie had a cancer tumor on his right hind foot. They had to amputate two toes and that surgery was close to 5k. He is now cancer free and it was worth every penny. After that, he kept gaining weight so they did a blood test on him. He has under active thyroid and will now need meds for the rest of his life. I call Louie my million dollar baby. If he keeps it up, he just might live up to that name!

Sounds like one of our Springer spaniels used to have when lived with my parents. That cost around that in her life with different things. Hopefully the blood test will give us some answers

Loui is very lucky to have you as his owner. You are very correct about them costing a lot.

I hope they find out what's causing Skipper not to gain weight. Hopefully it will just take some medication to sort out the problem. I'm very lucky that Louie's sister Lexi is very healthy and other than routine vacs. has cost me nothing. They are from a different breeder. I believe Louie came from a puppy mill in Canada as they didn't produce his pedigree papers when I asked for them. Lexie comes from a champion sire and does have her pedigree papers.

Thanks I hope find out what causing it to, and hopefully be just something like that what is needed to. Louie is very lucky to go to you, puppy mills are so horrible so thankfully he went to you, and thankfully you don't have any problems with Lexi
