Both! Right now I have an ancient Verizon LG phone that's a piece of crap! Verizon's rates are out of control as well!

Thank you. I also need a phone to access the web. Looking at the Samsung T401G from straight talk. It's a no contact phone. Phone costs $99 and I get 3 months unlimited everything. Just not sure what happens after those 3 months.
