Nope, now I have 200 channels! He already installed it and left. Works great. Got TV in my bedroom too. Plus a DVR

AT&T Uverse. I suppose the TV isn't really "cable" per se, it comes through fiber optics.

The promotion price is very reasonable. The non-promotion price, however, sounds more like a car payment.

Yeah the promotional price should be the permanent price.
Before switching to the TV package I had just internet with them and my internet was only $25 a month<--- that was a promotional price.
After the promotion was over my internet bill went up to $59 a month. So if you think about it that way, my TV is only $10 a month. ....Or each service is $34 a month.
Plus they're going to send me a $200 visa gift card for switching to the internet+TV package.

Makes perfect sense to me otherwise everyone would be signing up and cancelling as soon as they got the gift card.
