Wassailing last night was amazing, they passed round pan lids to clatter to scare away evil spirits and to awaken the spirit of the apple tree. Then we sang songs, and they passed round mulled wine to wassail the tree.
Great night of morris dancing and folk music - accordians, flutes, recorder, singing. More like that please!! I want to get back into rituals. Made me want to get into the tipi and do more solitary stuff with my gods and goddesses.
Later today I pick up Tomasz and we'll go to see 12 Years as a Slave and then get a takeaway

Sounds like an amazing time. 12 Years as a Slave is supposed to be an excellent movie. You'll have to let us know how you liked it.
