I should brush up on my spanish though. My dads side is all spanish and they all think I should know the language because its part of my heritage..

Well yeah, I live in California where almost everyone is mexican and white people are the minority.

I dont speak it too well. I can understand what people are saying though.

Ah.. Well I suppose it comes in handy, I for one would love to learn how to right in Spanish and so on because when I am at writing numerous people are looking over my desk in curiosity as to what I am writing, I have no idea why, but if I wrote in Spanish or Japanese they'd be like WTF does that mean?

What sucks about learning a language is that you can speak it and read it, but fluent speakers always go too fast

Some times it feels like my doctor is speaking another language he mumbles constant and at times has one of those odd doctor accents I never see on a person outside the office. I'd hate to not comprehend what he says and for him to cut my foot off so I better learn!
