Have to shovel snow this morning, then later on it's off to the bank pay a few bills. I'm too paranoid to pay them online. I always worry about being hacked, so no banking info online for this boy.

Today I had to head down to the warehouse as the boss wanted to go over some things with me. My clunker started up pretty good and I drove to the warehouse and got there no problem. After we were done I tried to head back home as I work from home. My clunker was dead and the battery wouldn't turn the vehicle over.
My boss comes out with this portable jump starter. Have any of you guys seen one of these? It's about the size of a paperback novel and has a positive and a negative clamp. My boss hooked it up to my battery, then pushed a button and gave me the signal. My clunker started right up!
I bought one right then and there and the boss is taking it off my next paycheck.
You just need to plug them into an AC outlet for 3 hours in order to recharge them. I've got my regular battery charger on my clunker right now, may as well charge it up to 100%.

Those are handy. You just have to remember to charge it every 6 months or so because the battery can drain naturally without even using it.

I am far too entertained because that calendar includes my birthday as "Cocktail Day". Also this month, for my Jewish friends... Purim!
I may no longer practice, but I still keep up with when holidays are due to family and friends.
The fact that my birthday coincides with Purim is a fact this year that feels ironic... Since while I don't hate it, I was never a huge fan of Purim (mostly because of the noise makers). xD
