Are you able to use chopsticks? Or are you like me, where you can't even hold them properly?

Yes I can use them, and I have a couple pairs somewhere in my kitchen, but never use them.

I’m Asian, so it’s legally required for me to know.
Any tips for us noobs?

I guess it's just something that takes a lot of practice but usually I'm hungry so I give up very quickly.

I’d practice at home, and not during a meal time.

They do sell training chopsticks for children:

My mom used to own something similar that she had us use as kids.

I'm not particularly good at it. I've tried a few times. It takes some getting used to.

I tried it once; faltered big time. I'm not Asian so our cuisine doesn't require it. However, I always thought it fascinating how people can eat with chopsticks. There's a certain flair people can have.

I’ll have to give those a try, thanks @Grungie.

Let’s see if I can learn how to use them properly before the end of the year

For the longest time I've let my fellow Asians down for not knowing how to use chopsticks. I'm better now and regularly use chopsticks with my sushi and ramen.

I know how to use them, and I was taught by my aunt before. Eventually, it improved when I worked in China a few years ago.

I am a Chinese. So I use chopsticks kind of naturally. I learned how to use chopsticks when I was very, very young.
