What are you eating for your meal on Christmas Day?

What do you usually have?

I going to the nursing home (as I do every year) to have my Christmas meal with my senior friends.

The menu:
Baked ham
Steamed asparagus
Oven roasted potatoes
Sweet potato casserole
Spinach salad
Dinner rolls
Apple crisp for desert

I have a ham in the freezer. Me and the babe are going to have our own dinner and exchange presents sometime this week. Dinner will consist of ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, rolls, gravy and probably pumpkin pie for desert.

As for the family gathering, it will probably be the same + turkey and some casseroles.

Usually, I have scampi and chips. I don't like turkey!

I love shrimp. Don't think I've ever had it on Christmas though.

We typically have:

1. Turkey
2. Mashed potatoes
3. Green beans
4. Gravy
5. Stuffing
6. Dinner rolls
7. Some kind of sweet yam dish
8. Veggies (lots of them, like on a platter)

We're actually ordering everything aside from the turkey and ham since these last two months have been incredibly stressful enough as it is. I'll be frying a turkey, which'll be nice because it's delicious, and that's about the only thing that's going to be cooked.

Turkey
Stuffing
Pigs in blankets
Roast potatoes
Brussel sprouts (don't eat these myself)
Carrots
Green beans
Gravy

Ham is still in the freezer. We decided to wait since we ate so much of it at other Christmas gatherings. Maybe we'll have a Christmas dinner in mid January. :|
