Well, my local radio station started playing Christmas music on Thanksgiving. I mean, isn't this a little early to start? It annoys me to no end. Does it annoy you too?

Don't listen to the radio! It is evil!

Actually, holiday songs are easy enough to avoid on the radio... in shops on the other hand...

Or in an office where everyone sings them, just to annoy others like me who HATE them. And hate Christmas!

I am listening to Dragula by Rob Zombie, ... I thought that would add something to the conversation.

Either of the last two songs mentioned, by Messrs Seger and Zombie are as AS MUCH a Christmas Song as the majority of those played on either commercial radio or over the canned music in retail stores.

Face it, most of them are winter songs (Winter Wonderland, Jingle Bells, Frosty...) or celebrate some pagan aspect of the holiday.

And most santa songs have very little to do with the Birth of Christ and everything to do with greed, such as the Chipmunk song.
