Have you done any Christmas/holiday shopping yet?

When do you usually do it? Get it out of the way early or a last minute shopper?

I'll get started on mines sometime next week.

We've gotten most of it done. My mother's birthday is in early December, so I've got to find her something for that too.

Have I started? Lol, I'm done. I did it in October this year, which is a bit early for me. My general rule of thumb is to have it done by the end of November. I hate fighting crowds and refuse to set foot in a mall in that month. Although the crowd thing has kind of become a moot point in recent years as I find I do most of my shopping online now. Still good to get it done earlier to account for shipping and snafus.

Not yet but i don't have a lot, just to prepare some Hampers with snacks and alcohol and this are early to start.

I don't buy gifts for people, seeing as I literally have no one to buy for

I all ready bought my decorations, (though to be fair a lot of them are reused from last year)

I won't buy the food (like the turkey) until nearer the time

I've done a majority of it. Usually start in late October early November.

Does this mean everyone is getting Halloween themed Christmas Presents? :surprised:

No Christmas shopping for me this year, sadly. I have no money for presents. I'm quite gutted at that.
It's okay, despite how some people act - there's more to the holidays than just spending money. :)

Anyways to answer the question myself, I've done a tiny bit but most of mine will be done when I get paid tomorrow.

Oh absolutely, I just enjoy the giving part of Christmas, to see people's excitement with what they receive. But you're absolutely right, there's far more to it than just money.

I'm housebound so someone does it for me.

I decided to skip alcohol in the hampers, it's gotten more expensive lately. So, I looked for other options. Many things I wanted will arrive after Christmas, though:censored:. After searching for hours, I found what I like at a good price, making sure it arrives at least two days before.:p

Got Some Hand Towel (Set of 2)
I got three for the older ladies:Dthe orders came today looks fantastic. I should have gotten one for myself. they are great good quality

Soon, I'll get a few packs of "The Ultimate Tea Collection" and some additional items that i am waiting for .
By Tuesday, everything will be ready some fantastic hampers. Can't wait to put it all together!

For those doing it this year how far into your Christmas shopping are you? We've completed ours which is very weird as we usually have something to do at last minute!

Started and finished with mines. All I got are 3 vintage TV guides, room darkening curtains, steel shelf pegs, and a PS2 USB adapter for my PS2 controller.
