While I've shared that photo before, the recipe itself is fantastic.
It's perfect for cheesecake enthusiasts who appreciate a simple yet delightful vanilla flavour. Plus, it's straightforward to make.

Wish I had taken photos before adding the birthday candle, but anyway, here's the recipe. 🥞 Classic no-bake vanilla cheesecake

Amusing how different words can be:LOL:

I just had a thought. This recipe uses biscuits/cookies we have here in Australia.
Maybe can substitute to Graham crackers or something similar. :p

I think that Graham cracker crust is the old standard here for Cheesecake; but IMO.....most any kind of cookie crumbs are just peachy!

I guess all good depends on what someone likes. Also, some cornflakes can be used.

That turned out to be very, very funny to me; but at the poor little girl's expense.
She & her parents & two older sisters were our houseguests for a week or so. Helen (the 6/7 year old) was always up early before the rest of her family, stirring around in the kitchen asking questions & wanting to know what's for breakfast. One morning I told her that I was making biscuits. She just beamed & went yelling through the house waking everyone up...,"We're having bikkies for breakfast! We're having bikkies for breakfast!"
I thought, "oh that's nice, the kid is very pleased!"
Then when the food was all on the table, she looked & looked & asked where the bikkies were. When I pointed to the biscuits, she burst into tears & cried, "Those are not bikkies!"
Sad, sad little girl.

Why were you being mean to the little girl? She was expecting biscuits, haha. J/K :funny:

It's funny how the same language can have such diverse meanings in different words.
What's even more amusing is that, even within the same country, the meanings of words can change.
