Cold Feet

Does anyone here suffer from cold feet? And by cold I mean like ice.

I constantly have ice cold feet, doesnt matter how warm I am. Currently my hands and nose are warm (usual cold culprits) but my feet feel like I've just walked in snow bare foot. I have to wear 2 pairs of socks and I usually wear shoes or slippers. Not that it makes any difference.

I don't but one of my coworkers kept complaining her feet were always ice cold. She went to the doctor and found out (through a simple blood test) that she has underactive thyroid. The medical term for it is hypothyroidism. She was also always tired, gaining weight for no reason and felt shaky sometimes. Once on medication, she's doing great.

I'm not saying this is what you have but perhaps it's worth getting it checked out.

Yea I have heard that, I had my bloods checked a year ago and they were clear. Got a neuro appointment coming up, they may want to check my bloods again. Thyroid is checked as that could be related to my tremor.

It's so uncomfortable. :/

I'm glad you have a neuro appointment coming up. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of what's causing your feet to be so cold. If my feet or hands get cold, my whole body gets chilled. Takes forever to warm up.

Have you tried to soak your feet in warm water? Or if you have a dryer, warm your socks up before putting them on your feet?

Yes, cold feet and hands. It's common in the disorder I have.

I thought this topic was going to be about the expression "cold feet" (backing out of something / getting nervous and changing your mind)....

My hands and feet are... normal body temperature most of the time I think.

I do, but my limbs are always usually cold. I just have bad circulation. Exercise tends to help with this, but not always.

Another option is low blood pressure in the lower extremities.
