So, it's one of my favorite pass times to collect media. This includes DVD's, albums, books, and more. I love owning physical media as I believe the digital age is ruining the warm feeling you get from owning the disk, flipping through the pages, etc.

How do you collect media? Do you buy books, DVDs, video games, etc. or do digitally download the games?

I download everything because I am poor.

But I can see why a person would appreciate stuff like that. :)

Both, I guess. Most of my books are physical objects and I have discs for maybe half my games, but my music is digital.

As with most other things, I'm a hoarder, rather than a collector.

I with frequently download entire series of TV programmes / movies, and even if I never expect to watch them ever again, I have to keep them, just in case....

You know how it is. You have an overall clearout in the home, and then within a few days of doing so you find you have something that needs doing, and in order to complete the task you need something you know you used to have - and then you realise it was one of those things you included in the clearout as being something you were never going to have any use for. Well, for me it's the same with computer files.
