Anyone here who's primary hobby is sword collecting? If so, what's your favorite sword style you like to collect?

I don't but a male friend of mine collects Japanese Samurai Swords. Some of them are quite beautiful. He has a large glass fronted display case and there must be over 20 swords in it.

Nice! Personally I think Japanese Katanas are the best.

I need to get a picture of my latest sword.

However, Here is one I own.

I don't appear to have a picture of my favourite sword

A black bladed Ninja replica sword.

This one is my dads, I really dislike it, but he loves it. It is a Roman replica sword.

I'll see if I can get pictures of the other two.

My dad actually bought the Katana in Spain whilst on holiday in the 80s. He brought it back as hand luggage!

He was getting rid of the swords a few years back, and so I claimed them!

I only got a few lousy daggers, but if had enough money I'd totally begin my own sword collection.

Right here are the pictures. There is quite a few.

Abit blurred but this is the Ninja sword. There are throwing stars on the sword guard that you can take off, but I've never worked out how to actually do that :/

To be honest, I find this a little bit bizarre. Personally I'd rather spend my money on a car or house than a collection of swords...

Joking aside, I don't know why I have a passion for them, I just love old weaponry and armour. My dad is the same. So I guess I got it off him
