What are your thoughts on Communism?

Do you think it's good or bad?

Bad.

In theory, pure communism would be fine.

Unfortunately, the system is implemented by humans, and every time, no, make that: EVERY TIME it has been attempted, it has ended up failing, and in some cases, failing in ways that are hard to believe were real.

A shining example is the atrocity committed by Pol Pot against the people of Cambodia in the seventies.

His Communist worker's paradise brought the term "killing fields" into our language, with over one million people dead.

See this for more:

Bad.
Because, as @DrLeftover pointed out, seems it must be implemented by humans.

Sometimes it's hard for me to take communists seriously, because some of the loudest voices are people who are just edgelord contrarians. It's weird seeing some of these Youtubers promoting communism also live a luxourious lifestyle and have a wall of pop culture trinkets behind them.

I'm not saying that if you're a communist you have to live a life of poverty, but living the complete opposite lifestyle of driving a lambourghini and wearing only designer clothing doesn't come off as genuine to the cause either.

Everything isn't about money. What I mean is that a poor person can be happy like a rich person. It all depends on how available time and resources, whatever they be, are used.
