What is a tip or trick that every computer illiterate person should know?

Pro tip #1: Contrary to the popular belief, mouse won't run away when you touch it, so there is no need to grab it with both hands in order to use it.

Pro tip #2: Numbers on the left side of the keyboard do exactly the same as numbers on the right side of the keyboard, so don't be afraid to use them when you accidentally disable Num Lock, instead of panicking.

What? Those are valid tips. I had a "pleasure" of watching people firmly grasping their mouse with both hands to prevent it from slipping away, since the single-handed technique of wrangling a mouse was beyond their abilities, as well as freaking out over being unable to type in any numbers due to accidentally disabling Num Lock key and being completely oblivious to the existence of another set of numbers that work independently, regardless of whether Num Lock is on or off. :computer:
