Do you host any contests on your forum? What are the prizes?

I did for a little while, but nothing major, just a few game giveaways and things like that.

Never won one, ever.

We did a bunch of them back in the day. Usually just gave members useless forum cash as a reward. Maybe if we did one in the future I'd give them an amazon gift card or something. Something worth while.

I hold small contests regularly where the prize is just forum XP that users can use to redeem for items on the board, and then I will host larger events/contests during summer and Halloween where I'll offer considerably better prizes which generally includes a cash prize.

I don't like to partake in contests nor do I care about the rewards.

I've done them in the past. Usually, one person participates or someone cheats in some way to get the prize.

Referral contests were always the hardest.

I'd love to do them again with maybe some branded tees just to weed out those who just want "something" when it'll be something but with my logo on it.

How much do you usually award the winners?

Normally a $10 gift card for the overall winner on smaller events, and when I can afford to then I'll usually bump that up to double or triple the amount on our anniversary event.
