RENO, Nevada - A federal jury has acquitted a former Nevada sheriff’s deputy of bribery charges after she was accused of accepting nearly $10,000 in gifts to give special treatment to the jailed founder of the “Girls Gone Wild” video empire.

Ex-Washoe County Sheriff’s Sgt. Michon Mills embraced her attorney and broke into tears as the foreman of the jury read the “not guilty” verdict Friday evening after six hours of deliberations.

Mills had been accused of accepting a $4,500 watch and a $5,000 gift card from an associate of Nebulous Francis while he was jailed in Reno on tax charges in 2007 and 2008.

Mills had no immediate comment after the verdict. But her lawyer, Leah Wigren, told The Associated Press she was “thrilled that the jury saw things for what they really are.”

Thats good she was found innocent.

Im sure she would be kicking her self if she really did accept the bribes. $10,000 is not worth losing your job.



Im glad those girls gone wild commercials are off the air. Dont get me wrong, the girls are hot.. Its just the adverts were annoying.

I hate watching Comedy Central at late in the night because every time the show goes to the commercials the GGW commercial is always there, in my face...

When I'd watch Spike TV when I was like 10, they would always show those Girls Gone Wild commercials and I would immediately make sure Mom was nowhere to be found and sit there watching with my jaw dropped lmao
