Corrupt Staff

Have you ever been on a forum with corrupt staff?

Multiple times. Hate it... not much you can do though. I try and talk reason into them and try and bring awareness to the issues with some other people but it's usually to no avail.

I remember one time I was on a forum, someone edited my post and the locked it so I couldnt edit it. Anyone else could come along and read it, thinking I was the one who said what was written in the post.

I reported this staff member to the admins but they didnt care.

I don't like corrupt staff. I usually don't waste my time on forums with corrupt staff.

I've been on forums were I'd say the staff are corrupt, because they're rule extremist. For example, if you made a double post, not for spam or bumping, but for a reasonable cause, they'd delete it, issue you a board warning, and a PM was sent to you.

Was a member of the same forum mentioned by Smooth. There is a moderator there that opened multiple accounts and posted as both male & female. He/she got caught but is he/she gone? Nope, he/she is still there banning people who are trying to do the same thing he/she did!

The whole forum reeks of favoritism. The trolls and drama queens are considered there as quality members by the staff. Forget about trying to reach the forum Admin there as your PM will be deleted immediately if it contains a complaint.

That story make me lol because of the fact that you have to be one pathetic person to be one of those corrupt staff members on that board. I don't think I can quite fathom how pathetic you would need to be to be one of their friends/favorites. If anything, they look like they are in need of some serious professional help if anything.

I rather be corrupt staff in RL and even there I bet I would get bored with it.

I am a member on a board that I find to have corrupt staff. They allow swearing by favorite members but if other members do ZOMG lets threaten to ban them.

I've come across a few forums here and there where I consider the staff to be corrupt. I tend not to hang around too long once I know that's the case.



I can honestly say with hand on heart, that none of my staff are corrupt. I have known them all for a number of years and that's why I gave them the staff positions in the first place, it's called trust.
