They're not wrong on this - Rowling in terms of letting kids sort out their identity as kids and not forcing them to adopt whatever preferred identity parents/society wants and Musk in terms of setting a clear boundary; adults can do whatever they want; its' their life. Kids, not so much.

They're not wrong on this - Rowling in terms of letting kids sort out their identity as kids and not forcing them to adopt whatever preferred identity parents/society wants and Musk in terms of setting a clear boundary; adults can do whatever they want; its' their life. Kids, not so much.
We live in a world nowadays though where you can actually have your kids taken away from you if you refuse to let them transition at 14-15. Actual parenting died once schools started determining what was best for the kids, not the home life.
