Hope you all have a good holiday season.

Got any big plans? Chirstmas or New Years party plans?

What do you want for Christmas? Done your Christmas shopping yet?

Christmas already? What about Thanksgiving..

I'll be asking for a new cellphone, because I've had mine for a couple years now and it is getting lagy/glitchy. Hopefully on Christmas morning I'll open up a new phone, then play around with it for a couple hours, and towards noon we will go over to my grandparents' house to exchange gifts and have lunch/dinner with our other family. Coming new years, we will stay up till the new year, then go to bed and forget all about it.

Canada already has thanksgiving. Also don't forget Vancouver 2010.

Thanksgiving discussions is for another topic.. This is about Christmas and new years.

I will have my lil one Chirstmas this year. Her mom will have her for Chirstmas Eve.

I haven't planned out anything yet, but I already know whats going to happen. One family member will decide that it will be at their house this year. Then we will all go there and have a big party.

New years I dont really care about too much. Probably just get drunk with some friends.

It really is getting close - time just flies so fast!! I remember last year.

I'll post what I'll do later tonight - I'm working on a project right now and Off Topix is just too tempting.

We're going up to the Gold Coast, which is further north from where I live. I guess we'll have a nice little holiday there, and hopefully I'll meet up with my ex boyfriend and we can beat the crap out of each other or something jovial and Christmassy like that. In Australia we don't get snow, or snow men, or turkey or pudding or whatnot. But we'll probably have a BBQ with some relatives. Same goes for New Years really, without the trip to Queensland. For both we'll probably go see the fireworks. On New Years Eve we'll probably go to some party with my parents' friends and sit in a corner drinking champagne until we fall asleep.

In Melbourne, at Christmas, we have the Christmas window display at Myer in the city, you have to line up for ages but there are these window displays that tell a story, it's all really cute, I love it. We've been going to those things for years now, and when we're finally done, we go sit on this giant purse outside the Bourke St GPO and take cheesy photos. Without Santa. Sitting on Santa's lap got real creepy real quick.

I want someone to clean my desk for me, and no mozzie bites for Christmas.

Most Christmas shopping is already done. I just don't know what to get hubby.

I'm getting my mother a new telephone--the kind with a couple of extensions that just plug into the wall.

Our son--he'll get mostly clothes, maybe a video game or some cd's.

everything else is done.

Started cleaning.....checking decorations and planning menus. I love the holidays.

Really only thing I have planned in getting drunk badly on new year

I'm not completely sure about my plans, but I'm pretty sure they'll be the same as always.

A week or two before Christmas (I'm not sure when it is now, but I know it's before Christmas), my dad's side of the family gets together at my church (my grandpa on my dad's side is the preacher) and we eat and play Chinese Christmas. Chinese Christmas is a game for kids ages 12 and up, so the little kids get their own present - normally the girls get the same kind of gift and the boys get the same kind of gift, depending on their age.

On Christmas Eve, we go over to my grandparent's house on my mom's side. We eat supper and get presents from the family members that come on Christmas Eve. Some of the people that go eat with us on Christmas Eve go back home after.

My brothers and I sleep in the same room on Christmas Eve. It's normally in the oldest two of my older brothers' room (they're twins - they have the upstairs room) or my room (doubt it this year because I switched rooms and it's smaller). We usually get up early for some reason (no alarm or anything - we just get up!) and go down to the living room to find the door locked. We usually send one of the boys to my mom's room to wake her up while I try to pick the lock with a bobby pin.

Then we look at all of our gifts (we've never gotten our gifts wrapped from 'Santa') and play with them. Then, we get ready to go back to my grandparent's house on my mom's side.

At their house, we eat breakfast for lunch. Once everyone eats, we open our gifts from the rest of my mom's side of the family (some of the members from the night before are there, too). Then, we play around and stuff.

New Years - We normally just stay up all night and watch the ball drop on the TV.

I'm not sure what's going to happen with Christmas this year (on my dad's side). It's the first Christmas since the divorce.

New Years...I don't know, either. It's possible that I'll go to my best friend's house, or I'll just do what I normally do.

Christmas!!!! I am still new to this whole I'm Santa Claus now.... I think I went overboard on the presents this year!!!!! a two year old doesn't need a crap ton of toys...their attention spans will be happy with maybe 2 or 4....

No i went well over 2 or 4 or 20 lol

LOL. I remember when our daughter was abour 4. All she wanted was a baby doll and a jump rope

I think everyone we knew bought that kid a baby doll and a jump rope. She was sooo cute it was hard to resist.

Nobody even mentioned the cool count down thingys in the 1st post.

Thrilling countdown! It reminds me I still have another month and a half before I get presents from Santa.

Christmas is such a jolly season; the cookout is the best part of Christmas, besides the gifts.

OMG I never knew that being Santa Claus was gonna cost me sooo much!!!!!!!
icon_cry.gif

Santa Claus is a very expensive job.....That's why it only comes once a year--he can't afford more than that.

Christmas got real expensive for us when the kids out grew the 'toy' section of Wal-mart.

OH NO! I am glad i just got into the toy section!!!!
