I'm not completely sure about my plans, but I'm pretty sure they'll be the same as always.
A week or two before Christmas (I'm not sure when it is now, but I know it's before Christmas), my dad's side of the family gets together at my church (my grandpa on my dad's side is the preacher) and we eat and play Chinese Christmas. Chinese Christmas is a game for kids ages 12 and up, so the little kids get their own present - normally the girls get the same kind of gift and the boys get the same kind of gift, depending on their age.
On Christmas Eve, we go over to my grandparent's house on my mom's side. We eat supper and get presents from the family members that come on Christmas Eve. Some of the people that go eat with us on Christmas Eve go back home after.
My brothers and I sleep in the same room on Christmas Eve. It's normally in the oldest two of my older brothers' room (they're twins - they have the upstairs room) or my room (doubt it this year because I switched rooms and it's smaller). We usually get up early for some reason (no alarm or anything - we just get up!) and go down to the living room to find the door locked. We usually send one of the boys to my mom's room to wake her up while I try to pick the lock with a bobby pin.
Then we look at all of our gifts (we've never gotten our gifts wrapped from 'Santa') and play with them. Then, we get ready to go back to my grandparent's house on my mom's side.
At their house, we eat breakfast for lunch. Once everyone eats, we open our gifts from the rest of my mom's side of the family (some of the members from the night before are there, too). Then, we play around and stuff.
New Years - We normally just stay up all night and watch the ball drop on the TV.
I'm not sure what's going to happen with Christmas this year (on my dad's side). It's the first Christmas since the divorce.
New Years...I don't know, either. It's possible that I'll go to my best friend's house, or I'll just do what I normally do.
