Countdown to Chirstmas & New Years

Oh yeah---wait until they want stuff from the electronic section....

Just remember, don't go over board--kids are happy with a half dozen little things and a couple of larger ones. (you don't have to get them everything on their list)

We got the kids a 'large' Santa Claus present ($15 or $20) then stocking stuffers (Dollar Tree, or those type stores are great) Then a half dozen other things wrapped under the tree. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice!!!! We got my daugther like the kitchen play thing...and a tea set, and like a My first purse lol... and those Playskool toys and some Dr. Seuss books, and some stuff to go with her little kitchen set thing....and a very expensive but child friendly dollhouse with a couple of extra things to go with it..oh and an Elmo and some Elmo dvd's lol...

Yep---that's enough toys for several years....lol. Remember--Grandparents, and Aunts and Uncles are going to give her presents too.

You might want to do something like the Kitchen set. Then let grandma and grandpa (if they are in the picture) give her the tea set--or some play food to go with the kitchen set.

And don't be surprised if she takes one or two things to play with, and ignores the rest....

i told my wife that...she wont be able to play with these toys like that...but don't worry i wont have to buy any more toys til next year! Plus her birthday is on the 28 of December! ugh!

See, that's poor planning on your part. 2 of ours are in May, one in July--that's 6 months between Christmas and Birthdays....

Although with the first two coming 1 year and 2 days apart--it was like Christmas every 6 months when they were little.

Wow. One month and 13 days until 2010?? It seems just yesterday when we went into 2009! Time flies, don't it?

Only three days until the new year. Yes, time flies!

Sure does! What is everyone's plans for the new year?

I'll be at my aunt's house opening up presents, while celebrating the new year. Definitely going to watch the ball drop.

I'm volunteering at the Youth Centre here. They're having an all nighter from 8PM-8AM. 12 hours of floor hockey, and video games, and getting to write it on my University Resume, how can I go wrong?

only about 36 hours until the new decade.

Everyone's in different time zones so I'm confused. I'm in the Central Time Zone by the way.

13 hours (i think - I can't count) here in England
