Are you a country or city person?

I'm a county girl. I like the peace and quiet of living in the country. I hate the hustle and bustle of city life.

How about you?

Being born and raised in a town, I like towns rather than cities, but I do like living in the country now as well.

I been born and raised in the city. Now I live in a small town.

Overall, I like the city better. There's more to do, more job opportunities, more diversity, and better convenience. The only thing is the crime. The city is, perhaps, not the greatest place to start a family.

What some people may see as a peaceful and quiet, others see as mundane and boring. Conversely, some people adjust to the fast-paced city lifestyle that others would find hectic.

...I... I dunno. I've always been sort of .. in the suburbs.

I wouldn't want to live right in the town centre, cuz the houses look cack, and there's no driveways/gardens (at least in Warrington town centre, anyway)

But the country is too sparse. I like the sort of area I live in now, just close enough to a town/city without being too close.

I would love to live in the country. Cities would be handy for work and nightlife, but I don't like all the noise.

lived in city's all my life, holidayed in the country. Ideally i'd live on the edge of the city or the start of the countryside

I live out in the sticks. Cities are nice to visit and all, but I like it quiet when I go to bed.

I like outer, outer, outer suburbs.

Like, still metropolitan...But barely.

With paddocks.

Right now I live in the city (Melbourne represent), I grew up in a small town...I'm looking to move right between where I am now, and where I was...Which happens to be the furthermost suburb still considered South East Melbourne.

Good plan? I think so!

^ Sounds like a good plan to me.

I went to visit my friend in the city today. My goodness, her yard is the size of a postage stamp. The houses are so close together that you can reach out and knock on the window if you need to borrow some sugar. Then there was the traffic that was stop and go. It took me forever to get to her house.

What a sigh of relief it was to get back home. No traffic and no neighbors for miles around me. I am just surrounded by forest and my wildlife friends who come to visit ever so often. Peace and quiet just the way I like it.

That is my major complaint about city life. I have no backyard as well.

With a young daughter, too, it's far, far from ideal. So hopefully when we move (planning for later in the year) we'll find a nice house with a yard and somewhere we can put a BBQ (and make into an entertainment area.)

I'd also like a garage...Just sayin'.

Sometimes those wildlife friends can be pretty big pests too. >.>
