Do you ever feel like no matter how hard you try, you just keep letting people down? In the past three months my world has been shaking up. I've moved out on my own, going to school full time, and working 40 hours a week to support myself.

Since I've moved.. I have had no time to myself, can't afford to take off weekends because I'm working on wage and commission, and will risk losing a lot of money. I have no time I drive and see my family, my sisters, or my girlfriend.

I know school is done for a bit in a month, I'm just not sure I can make it.

How do you deal with stress?

Hello Skillet!

You came this far so don't give up now! Is there any possibility that you can lessen your class load next semester? Seems like you took on too much and now you're feeling stressed from it. Set your goals in life but make sure you don't set them so high that they become out of your reach. To get to where we want in life, we have to make sacrifices. Just make sure you're ready for that.

There is a way to lessen my load.. But whether or not I want to do that I don't know. It's mostly because the cost of living. I'm paying 700/mn for rent and a parking spot.. Not including food and other things that come up. It's hard to imagine stretching that out with an average job to more than 3 more years. But maybe it is a better option to keep my sanity.

Wow, that rent is very high. Are you keeping an eye out for a cheaper place? Do they not offer housing on campus?

I didn't get into residence, because I started school in the second semester. I'm looking, but any plans to move won't happen until after April, when school is done. My #1 goal is to get into res. Significantly cheaper.

It sucks, cuz right now it means I have to work more to pay for it. But what do you do.

Just hang in there and keep moving forward. It's hard but it will all be worth it in the end. I've been there in your shoes but I just kept my sanity by knowing I had to do what I had to do to reach my goal. I never once thought about throwing in the towel because that would have meant I said I can't do this. My dad always taught me to NEVER say those words. If I had said them, I wouldn't be where I am today.

A day off just for yourself is exactly what you need. Hope you can get one soon!
