There was a big controversy that surrounded the goal scored by Cristiano Ronaldo against Uruguay which was given to him initially but was later over turned and given to Burno Fernandez. FIFA later made a statement the senors in the ball didn't pick up any touch by Ronaldo on the ball but there's a chance some strands of his hair touched the ball. Was the technology sensor designed to pick up such soft touch impact?
As many of those highlights I've seen on that particular goal, at best Ronaldo tipped it a little bit. Not enough to visibly alter the path of the ball, which is what VAR would've looked at, hence Bruno Fernandes is and should be credited with the goal.
