I used it check what RAM I have then purchased elsewhere. I don't I can buy from crucial.com
 
I use it to check out for my neighbor's when i;m fixing computers, or doing upgrade's. I just checked my computer's My Dell would cost $110+ to get its full RAM. & Emachines would cost $101.98 to get's it full RAM. Dell is over a little 1GB RAM & Emachines is a little over 2GB RAM!
