It’s always fun to see Dave Meltzer tanking his own career in real time, but Meltzer once again has plummeted new depths in moronic and biased takes, and this one happens to feature my old pal, Dutch Mantell. Instead of simply reporting that many people had donated to Dutch's Go fund Me to help with his medical bills, Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter was apparently so upset that Tony Khan donated money to Dutch, he decided that to cry about Dutch criticising AEW booking and production instead. Total idiot and a horrible look.

If he wasn't getting viewers, and thusly money, from ranting on about stuff that doesn't matter and that most people don't care about, he wouldn't be doing it.
Doc, you and I and @Dead2009 and @PGen98 know more about wrestling than Dave Meltzer; as Jim Cornette once said (paraphrased), "Dave Meltzer is like the crazy uncle who sits at the kids table because the other adults can't stand him but manages to creep out the kids he's sitting with."

His beef with Dutch Mantell is just like his beef w/Corny: they both tell the truth about AEW's myriad of problems and Unca' Dave can't stand his favorite curtain-jerker being criticized.

Dave Meltzer gave a match a 6 star rating and literally cried over it. That's all you need to know about that moron.

What match was it?

It was either Ospreay/Ricochet on Dynamite or Ospreay/Ricochet/Takeshita.
I'm honestly shocked we didn't get a live shot of Meltzer jerking himself to either match.
