My old landlord from the place I just moved from refunded my entire deposit! Never had that happen before. I suppose it happened because he had people lined up to move in like the day after I moved out. He did not have time to go through the place with a fine tooth comb to see what he could charge me for.

I'm happy that he didn't wind up to be a sleaze ball like the last one was.

They shut it off if you dont pay for 2 months. You can skip a month if you want. There is only a $5 late fee. I couldn't afford to pay it because I had to pay deposit+1st months rent on my new place+moving truck+ for the new house (I redid my bathroom (new shower curtain, rugs & towels) and bought some various other things).. etc.. Moving is expensive.
