Have you ever been depressed?

Do you suffer from chronic depression?

How do you deal with it?

I get depressed once in a while. I usually just wait it out. I'll be over it in a day or two usually.

I have always been a very pessimistic type person, I see the cup half empty even when it's full, and that lets its way out through depression. Which is a very big thing with me.

It takes a lot to make me feel depressed, and if I do get depressed, it's horrible. XD It takes a while for me to get over it, but I usually just wait it out.

Thats all you can do really. When you are depressed, the things that make you happy or put you in a good mood usually dont work.

I've suffered from depression a few times, especially when I was having hard times in school. Whenever I'm depressed, I try to take things easy and not to get stressed. The good thing is that I've not been depressed for a long while.

I suffered Major depression through High school and college. I was helped out by my friends and through music.

I still have bad days, but nothing compared to before.

I don't have/never have had depression, which is something to be thankful for, i suppose... However, i help a lot of other people with depression, which is sorta tough sometimes.

I have bouts of minor depression. Nothing too serious, but it can be a pain when it's going on. You just feel worthless, want to sleep all the time, nothing holds my interest....

I usually keep trying different things--reading, tv watching, accomplishing something (like mopping a floor, cleaning a room--something that I can say I did it) until I get over the bad mood.....

I've had depression on and off since I was a child. I take medication for it now.
