Phablet is a handheld device that is a cross between a phone and a tablet. It is bigger than a phone but smaller than a tablet, it originally came with a better processor than a phone. Technically speaking, a phablet is a failed technology, however, a lot of phone companies still manufactures phones with phablet characteristics. They offer a bigger screen sizes and better processors in their phones.

I use to! :)
They’re neat, I personally like tablets better but phablets can be useful in their own way too.

No, and the name 'phablet' has to be one of my least favourites I've ever seen... it looks like someone spelled the word 'Alphabet' out of alphabet soup, then ate it and vomited it back up!

Someone was lazy when they invented it. I'm sure of it..

I have a phone and a tablet so I don't see a need for something that is medium sized?

I would probably consider my phone to be a phablet, yes.
