Have you ever had a disaster in the kitchen?

....Like knocking over a stack of plates/bowls and broken glass went everywhere
.....Or leaving a plastic dish on a hot oven burner and it melting onto the oven / plastic fumes fill your house
.....Or forgetting you were cooking and burning something pretty bad
.....Or water flooding from an overflowing sink or broken dishwasher.

Nope, unless you count an occasional accidentally broken glass during the dish washing process. Accidentally lightly tapped them against the sink or they slipped from my hand and fell into the sink from a low altitude and that was enough to crack them. Cheap crap.

Everything I listed there as an example as happened in my kitchen!

No but my wife has a few times. I saw this happen a few times in culinary school also. It's kinda funny.. However based on how specific you are being I assume either you or @tonychu have done these things?

I occasionally overcook food but I’m usually very careful in the kitchen.

Called out @tonychu lol.

It's all good you live and learn :) I have done all the things many times even right after I did it once. So I feel ya.
