One of the local pubs here has plastic cups in the club style venue, But they are hard plastic. Brilliant for me as I can't hold flimsy plastic cups.
When I have to use the thin plastic cups I always ask for them to be doubled up, helps a little.
Paper/styrofoam cups are another no no for me.
