I wear glasses. Obviously they don't have any impact on how smart you are, but I have noticed that people with glasses tend to be pretty intelligent, normally anyway. I think that's coincidence though...

I think it adds to the image of being intelligent yes. I never really have the what a retard feeling when meeting people with glasses, that sometimes changes though once you get to know them.

Well I knew this one dude in high school who was dumb until he put his glasses on, unless i just got that illusion because he couldn't see anything without his glasses and ran into stuff

The only thing that glasses do is increase vision strength, but some people think that since your view is better in can make your overall focus better, but I don't know about that.

I hear that getting the surgery is much easier then caring for contacts, glasses, etc. My bro and my mom got it, but I don't need it because I have 20 vision.
