Do these mysterious lights mark the beginning of an alien invasion?

This string of multi-colored lights were captured in the sky above San Diego, California, by Larry Fox – who was in his back garden when he spotted the unusual formation.

‘It looked like a strobe light’, he explained.

‘It was a series of flashing lights. ‘If it was a plane it would have moved’.

The strange lights were also spotted by an NBC reporter and photographer, who were covering a story on Tuesday night.

The lights could be aliens. Could be organized experimentation. Do I believe in the possibility of aliens? Yes. But something about the video doesn't quite sit right with me and raises my suspicion. Not to take any authenticity away but just to add to the possibility of doubt, why does the video "cut" in and out rather than to "zoom" raises a question for me because who videos like that?
