I only have my best friend since primary if you are talking about long-term friends that I've known for 11+ years I did have other people that I thought i was close to if you are talking about friendships that were over 2 years old but they ended up leaving or I was forced to cut them off so I don't believe in friendship.

How about you's? Were you lucky enough to find a decent friendship group?

Friendship is very important to me. Trusting another is hard but when we open ourselves up, we find both parties get a mutual benefit.
I'm an introvert so I've always done better writing than face to face so I have more friends online.
My best friends IRL are my husband & my parents. I talk to my mom daily online. I call to talk to my dad & then we visit without fail at least once a month.

I wish Friendship was as real as it was in your generation!

Yeah, friendship is very important, most definitely. You've got to find the right friends, though, because there are a lot of casual so-called friends that will turn on you easily. So finding good friends is very important.

I guess it's similar to a relationship where you got to find the ones, Replace that with finding the right group of friends!
I still believe some people are not bad though, Just some you can't get along with and some you can.

I do have a few really good friends, had more but death and cult brainwashing has taken some. I enjoy what I have left though.

I have very few friends, but a hundred acquaintances. Be very selective about who you call friend and always remember that it's those close to you that cause you the most pain. Never hurts to stay a little guarded.
I am the same I had very close friends now ex-friends but on good terms Acquaintance level and a few current friends.

Most are Acquaintances though, I’ve made that mistake I was to sure of myself and got hurt, you can’t expect people to stay or stay close to you so you need to be very cautious.

We now have a new forum section called 'Emotion' this has now been moved to that.

A Friend in need is an indeed, but in these days all friends are money people as they come when we have money in our hands and they go off when no money. I don't have any trust on these scammers who tells I am your friend, but they are nothing when I need them.

I’m not sure why people can use people for benefits, it’s like they don’t have any emotions at all.

It hurts even more when people call themselves as your friends but the next time you discover them backbiting about you in the group chat from which they have already removed you.

I'm glad other people feel the same about friendship people say if you grieve a friendship it means you were "in love with them" that's a load of .**
There's a reason why you call someone you're friend it means you care about them, not everything's about romance.

I don't 'do' friendship, people only mess you around.

I've had that too, Mr Dawn.
