Hi Friends,

Since 10 years I have not participated in any elections means not voted, Parliament, Assembly or even municipal elections. When we have changed our rented house to other place, and when elections is there I may not avilable on those days in town also.

I have attached a poll. @yugasini please refer to this thread if you need help figuring out how to make a poll here: http://offtopix.com/showthread.php?tid=24020

Anyway, I usually don't vote. I don't give a shit about politics, to put it bluntly. My life is the same either way and my one vote doesn't matter. I know people say "well if everyone thought like that...." to that I say, oh well. :P

Let me think....yes. No, wait: hell yes.

yes, cos if you dont i dont think you have the right to complain about the state of things caused by the govt.

I haven't missed a general election since 1980.

Now, I've missed things like school board elections because, frankly, I didn't want to drive all the way across town to the one and only place where you could cast a vote for the school board to vote against the various bed-wetters that exchanged the seats back and forth between themselves.

I don't vote, but I don't really bitch all that much anyway. xD I may or may not vote depending on who's running, but to be honest, I don't like voting for the lesser of two evils. It feels like a waste of my time and effort to pick someone who's just going to fuck up on something at some point after promising the world.

Hi Friend,

I do not want poll option, this thread should be posted in General discussion. Sorry for posting here in this section.

Nope. I don't see the point. There's only really three parties that are worth voting for here, and I don't agree with any of them enough to make me vote for them.

Plus, last time there was an election nobody got enough votes to win, so two parties joined together and created a coalition, which is why we now have two retards running the country instead of one.

I think everyone has the right to an opinion regardless. But most people who don't care about politics aren't seen complaining about politics because they don't care about politics.

Personally, I find politics to be a mind-numbing, headache-inducing subject that is completely flawed from the get-go. Yeah, we talk about how politics SHOULD be, but do politics ever truly work out in favor of everyone? No. Someone's got to suffer somehow, someway. Lies will be and are told. Promises are made and not kept. Actions other than what were pledged are taken, and actions vowed are not. It's a disgusting, pointless dispute among 300-ish million US citizens, and the whole two-party system is seriously not working for us.

Most of the threads you've created have been posted in the wrong sections and I have been busy moving them all around. Please post them in the correct forum. With that said, I think this is a fine poll topic and should stay here. Unless you really want in general discussion, I can move it. :Dontknow:
