Do you ever sleep?

That's kind of a personal question right there, but yes, I do sleep. I just don't log out of here that's all.

Don't worry Macy, anyone offended by this topic was probably the inspiration for it.

To answer your question, I had at least 10 hours of sleep last night! Slept in till 1 AM.

Hey, I love this forum, and I am not ashamed to admit it! Even if I say I'm never coming back, I still find myself attached to this community! So I love this site.

It's amazing who I've seen come back, even after saying they're not. It's a good site.

Between Forum Advertiser and now here, I've seen loads of people come and go during my time with foruming, but at the end of the day, it's all good.

I never said that you couldn't, and all I really meant by giving off the wrong impression was that you lead many people to believe you don't have a life. I also didn't say that you had to care.

Just letting you know that, if you don't want others to think about you in that way, it helps to log off every once and a while.

Life is to short to care about what others think. If people want to pass judgment on others when they do not know a persons situation, then that's their choice. That just shows what kind of person they are.

Just because people are on a forum, doesnt mean they dont have a life. Many people get on during breaks at work or school. They could be browsing with their cell phone. They could just have the day off and want to kick back at home and relax. They could be on during night-time hours when there is nothing to do. They could be disabled or work from home. Whatever the reason, what people choose to do in their free time is their own business.

If someone sits here and watches over a forum, then comes in and passes judgment on others, that will make others get a really bad impression of them.

A lot of forums are set so you appear logged in even if your last click on the board was a while ago.

If the online users list was set to show all users logged in the past hour and you simply clicked somewhere on the board once every hour for those eight hours and left to do other things the rest of the time then you would appear online all the time even if in reality you were only at the computer for five minutes out of those eight hours.

So yeah you can make assumptions but the above theoretical story proves that you can be very easily wrong in your assumption that someone does nothing but be on a forum all day.

That's true. I remember on one forum I had or I was on, I remember a co-administrator who appeared to be online almost all the time even though he wasn't at times. It was very confusing to me at first, until I finally figured it out.

I wonder what sort of impression you give off when you go out of your way to spend hours on a forum analyzing who appears in your mind to spend all day on forums and therefore not have a life? If someone had a life then they have no time to waste on such silly things as that as they would probably have plenty of friends, hobbies, and obligations to attend to each day to have any time to bother with such things.
