I don't understand why humans, despite being fully aware of their own mortality, keep reproducing, keep creating new humans to suffer and eventually die. It makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Exactly. I don't know and don't understand why humans so desperately cling to life and sing praises to it, when even those who lived the most extraordinary lives eventually die, just like everybody else. Makes no sense to me whatsoever.
