Do you get burned out?

Usually not unless you run into someone particularly difficult to deal with. Otherwise I enjoy my time on the communities I'm a part of.

I've been burned out on both, coding and posting around message boards. But, it's usually a combination of doing it too much and feeling down at the time.

The only time I get burned out is if the community as a whole has a bunch of toxic bull-- going on then I just step away or leave. Seeing that mess on a constant basis, with administrators doing nothing to stop it, is annoying.

How long does it take you to get burned out from visiting and posting on a community?
This differs from community to community. Some communities are full of life and I can post more of those forums because there is a lot more to go off of or a lot more to add. Some communities don't really have me wanting to post a whole bunch or I just feel like people are only posting on that site to get post counts up they aren't treating it like a community.

Eventually I will get burned out if all I do is post but sometimes I like to just roam around and see what the discussion or thread is about.

I tend to also feel more burned out when I feel like I'm the only one trying to keep a community active or being one of the only members trying to add content. Thankfully this forum has a lot of threads and posts so I don't feel burned out here.
