She is one of the UK’s best-loved models and now Keeley Hazell appears in a gorgeous new PETA ad campaign, which features the tagline “Be Comfortable in Your Own Skin. Don’t Wear Fur”. In one ad, Hazell stands topless against a mirror with a blindfold over her eyes.

Do you guys oppose the idea or support it? I personally am with Keeley on this issue.

No, i don't wear fur, nor do i like people wearing fur, the majority of the animals where they get the fur/leather from are skinned alive and suffer huge amounts of pain before they die.

If you were freezing cold and had nothing warm... You would kill to wear a fur jacket.

In the old old days people did this. It was just a way of life.

I have some items of clothing if fur on it, and I also wear alot of leather.

I don't where fur but it's not because I have some moral opposition to it. I just don't wear fur. PETA is one of the most despicable groups of people ever brought together & anything they support causes me to want to oppose that idea.

Why? PETA has helped so many things and brought animal rights to a front, why would you oppose that? Would you like for animals to be tortured, tested on, murdered inhumanly, abused etc. So how is that despicable?

Me too. Its out of style now anyways. Women dont really wear fur anymore. At least not around here.

I agree about Peta, I dont like their tactics.

But that shouldnt put you off supporting everything they stand for, if you believe in it. Just go support a charity who's ethics you agree with.

PETAs tactics are disgusting and just outrageous.

I disagree with their motto also, well bits of it.

Animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment.

^ Well it's true, that's exactly what it's like, just because animals are not human doesn't mean they should get any different treatment to any other living thing on this planet, i think it was a good use of that stabbing/murder.

I don't currently have a fur coat--but I wouldn't turn one down if I was given one. (I have had fur in the past)

I have a leather purse. Hubby has a fleece lined jacket. And I use lanolin based cold cream. I haven't a problem with it at all.

I am opposed to animal cruelty, but I also believe that if a creature is smart & skilled enough to kill & eat another creature than they have earned the right to. If a bear is able to kill & eat me than it deserves the meal. I'm going to fight & do my best to make sure it won't earn that right but if it kills me than it was stronger than I was & deserved to kill me. The same goes for a human killing any kind of animal for its meat. Anyone who believes in natural selection should agree with this nothion.

I really don't think that they would be allowed to skin these animals alive. contrary to popular belief, there are actually a lot of rules in the animal industry, especially when it comes to something controverdial like this. people make sure that all the rules are followed. if somebody did skin the animal alive, they'd be in major kaka. and besides, have you ever actually skinned something? it's hard enough to do when they're dead, never mind alive and kicking. you wouldn't get anything good out of it. I've helped my dad skin two deers. we don't use the skin for anything, but we have a really hard time getting it off anyway. there are always holes in it. and this is when it's dead, hanging from the ceiling upside down. I wouldn't even want to consider trying it when the animal was alive.
