Do you hate being alone? Why or why not?

As for me, I like a little alone time. But I hate being alone long term. I really empathize with the below meme. The silence of being alone can be too much after awhile and then I would start to think about the past, and then I'd start to dwell on depressing memories and it would just get worse, and worse. I found that out after my divorce and I hated it. I don't think about those things when I have someone to go home to.

I hate being alone. I suffer from depression so if I am alone or feeling alone I stay in my head a lot...which is never a good thing at all.

And when I say I hate people, I mean people in general. There are individuals in my life that I very much enjoy spending time with. But the less general public in my life the better.

Being alone can be a good thing to have, not everyone is mentally is good at being alone but i do see its nothing wrong unless you do have a lot of problems in life as its not okay to have that sitting on your shoulder.
Need someone, don't be afraid to reach out and just speak about it to get it off your mind, it won't hurt, find someone you trust and allow you to talk with.

I'm fine being alone, depression makes me feel like it's what I deserve, and even in my "normal" mind I'm happier alone than in groups or with people.
